Parkour and the mind

Denise Pirnbacher

Have you ever wondered what happens in your brain while you are jumping or how your perception has changed since you do parkour?
With this workshop we will step into the mental aspects of parkour and its underlying neurological dynamics, explore why repetition is key and find strategies to overcome fear.
If you are fascinated by pushing limits, breaking jumps and training in height or have a general interest in how the brain works, this workshop is for you.
The difficulty of the workshop will be adapted to the participants.

Denise Pirnbacher has been coaching parkour for about a decade. She was traveling around the globe for years to train with like-minded people, exchange inspiration and learn from different mentalities.
At the moment she keeps herself busy with studying neuroscience.
